Hello!

My name is Amanda and I’m a wife, a dog mom, a science nerd, and a bookworm. Not to mention a lover of all crafty things! My favorite mediums are watercolor, photography, and my biggest passion - cardmaking!

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always been crafty. The number of times my mom had to take me to the craft store is more than I could ever count! While I was growing up, my favorite artsy things to do were cross stitching, painting, and working on project kits my mom would buy for me. When I was in high school, I fell head over heels in love with photography and almost pursued it as a career. Then college came around, and all my time for my crafty hobbies disappeared. I graduated the University of Michigan with a degree in Microbiology, and a fiancé. Soon after our adventure began. We left our home in Michigan and moved 1,900 miles away to the Seattle area for my husband’s job. While trying to figure out my next career move, I fell in love with watercolor, which I have to thank my Grandma for.

As the holiday season started approaching, I missed sending out Christmas cards with my mom, so I decided I was going to watercolor each recipient a different card. And here my love for cardmaking bloomed! Not soon after was I dipping my toes into the world of stamping and die cutting. Three years later, I’m now setting up a blog that I’ll be running full-time since leaving the healthcare field. When my husband and I aren’t working, we can be found having fun with our dog Bandit (who is the cutest boy in the whole world), enjoying the beauty of our state, or being homebodies.

I hope you’ll follow along and take a peek into my crafty daydreams. :)

Meet Bandit.

The fluffiest, cutest boy in the world. Also the one responsible for all the dog hair I edit out of card photos.
