My Top Picks from the Waffle Flower 2026 Spring Sale!
Hi Crafters!
Today I’ve got a great post for you if you’re wanting to build up your stash while saving some money! Waffle Flower has their Spring Sale this week from March 15-25, and it is full of amazing products! Want 25% off of products? Simply use the code AMANDA or my link to save!
I’m going to break things down into categories for this post to make things a little bit more digestible, so I’ll be talking about some Basics, Die-n-stencils, Dies, Sentiments, Stencils, Postage, and Tools (these categories all have clickable links so you can jump to those sections!). Buckle up, this will be a long post! There will also be a visual supply list at the end of this post!
Products
These are my favorite products that I’ve been loving!
Basics
Here are some products I think are staples:
The first of the ‘Basics’ products that I highly recommend are the A2/A6/A7 Piercing Layers Dies. I love the subtle yet impactful detail that the nesting rectangles add to your die cuts! They’re especially great for larger A6/A7 sizes since at the moment Waffle Flower only has one large A7 texture die, so these dies will add some great texture without having to fuss with partial die cutting. Another great option are the Lacy Layers dies that also come in A2/A6/A7! Currently the A6 size is included in the Spring Sale.
If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous than pierced rectangles, the Piercing Ovals, Piercing Squares, Piercing Circles, and Piercing Ticket Frames are also on sale, too!
Die-n-stencils
When it comes to Die-n-stencils, there are sooo many amazing products. These products are composed of a die with a coordinating/matching stencil, and the best part is you don’t have to use them together, you can also use them separately! Lots of bang for your buck when it comes to these!
First up is the Bookshelf Die-n-stencil. I love this cutie of a set! As an avid reader, anything bookish is an immediate love for me. This full panel die would be a fabulous die to use on its own, but with the stencil you can add lots of color and detail to your panel!
Want to make quick & easy birthday cards? One great set for that is the Boxed Cupcake Die-n-stencil! I adore how fun & sweet this set is, as well as how much fun you could have playing with color! Interested in those sentiments? The Hey Cupcake sentiments and matching die are the perfect pairing for sweet birthday messages!
Another great set for birthday cards is the Sweet Cupcake Die-n-stencil. These focal images come together in a flash, and you can even play around with masking with the cupcake liner stencil to make cute, patterned cupcake liners! So fun!
The Butterfly Blossom Die-n-stencil has to be one of my favorite products ever because I have made two of my favorite cards ever with it!! These cards show you how a card could look if you only use the stencil and how things look if you use the products together (plus the use of the Butterfly Blossom Die too), or if you use the ‘background’ die alone.
Another floral favorite of mine is the Mod Blossom Die-n-stencil. I always love bringing this set out since it makes such a beautiful background so quickly. It’s a win for me!
This cutie is the Seashell Frame Die-n-stencil, and I love how gorgeous of a frame it creates!
If you’re not looking for a seashell frame, then maybe the Seashell Die-n-stencil is just what you need! This set creates a gorgeous background full of texture and color when you use the coordinating stencil.
When it comes to autumn-themed die-n-stencils, there are some gorgeous ones! Besides a weakness for pumpkins, I also adore sunflowers. This set, the Sunflower Cluster Die-n-stencil, was one of the first die-n-stencils I had ever used, and I absolutely adore the design. I also love how great this set looks with just the stencil being used as well!
Want cute pumpkin die-n-stencils to make cute autumn cards in a flash? Well, I’ve got two for you! The first one is the Pumpkin Patch Die-n-stencil. I love this fun design and the moment it has since those pumpkins feel like they’re dancing across the page.
Last up for the autumn-themed die-n-stencils is the Pumpkin Time Die-n-stencil! I love this sweet set and the variation on the perspective we get of the pumpkins vs. the Pumpkin Patch Die-n-stencil.
A wonderful set for quick, beautiful Christmas cards would be the Poinsettia Frame Die-n-stencil. This set creates a beautiful frame around your card front when you die cut it twice. Want sentiments that nestle into the open space perfectly? Check out the Poinsettia Frame sentiments & matching die!
To wrap up our foray into die-n-stencils, another fabulous Christmas set is the Retro Christmas Tree Die-n-stencil. I think this might be one of my absolute favorites because of the warm and cozy nostalgia it brings.
Dies
Now I’ve got a quick smattering of standalone dies that I really love.
The first texture die that I absolutely love is the Frosty Texture Die. This die creates the most beautiful snowflake background texture. The modern style lends itself to lots of different designs!
This next die is one of my favorites. The Open Book Die can be used simply as a book that you can add faux scripty writing to with a texture die (there’s even a stamp set too!), or you can pair it with the many coordinating stencils (Open Book Floral Stencil, Open Book Dragon Castle Stencil, Open Book Poinsettia Stencil, Open Book Nativity Stencil). There’s all a mini version of this called the Open Book Trio Die (it also has some coordinating stencils!).
If you’re looking for a fun ‘hello’ die, look no further than the Snowcapped Hello Die. This die has little snowcaps that you can die cut and glue on all the letters for a cute winter greeting. Not a fan of snow? Leave it off for a sentiment that works year-round! Like those trees? Well, the Snowcapped Trees Die is also included in the Spring Sale.
Want some cute and maybe spooky texture for Halloween cards? Then the Spider Web Texture Die is perfect for you! As an arachnophobe, even I think this texture panel is so fun!! Like those spiders and pumpkins? The Cute Spiders Die and the Hey Pumpkin Die are also in this sale too!
Sentiments
I’ve got a couple of great staple sentiments sets that would be a great addition to your stash!
First up is the Birthday Wishes Sentiments stamp set & matching die. I love the variety of birthday sentiments you get in this set as well as the fun mix of print and script fonts! A solid staple for any stash. Like those sunflowers? Those were made with the Sunflower Die, and that set is also on sale!
Okay, I know I just recommended one birthday stamp set, but I’m going to recommend another! The Sweet Birthday Sentiments stamp set & matching die is another favorite of mine! I really like the modern fonts and the wide variety of sentiments in this set. I think this one is one that I go back to a lot and is probably my favorite!
A really great bookish stamp set with some flair is the Simple Book Sentiments stamp set. This set is soooo cute and quirky! One of my favorite bookish sets for sure!
I’m sure you can tell just by the font here that I do adore the Full Bloom Sentiments stamp set & matching die. Being a floral lover, I do get lots of use out of this set since the greetings are perfect paired with any florals.
A great sentiment strip-like stamp set with a great variety of holiday sentiments in the Elegant Christmas 2 stamp set & matching die. These sentiments don’t take up too much real estate, so they’re great to use with Postage Collage designs too!
I adore the Family Christmas Sentiments stamp set & matching die soooo much. Like this is hands down one of my favorite Christmas sentiment sets ever. I love the fonts and the greetings, and I know for a fact this set can do some double duty by being a great inside sentiment set too!
How cute is this winter-themed sentiment set?! The Snow Cheer Sentiments stamp set & matching die is such a perfect, flexible stamp set. Not only does it work for winter cards, but it also works well for Christmas cards, too!
Stencils
When it comes to stencils, there are a few standalone ones that I love!
A great basic to have in your stash is the Cloudy Skies Stencil. Like the name suggests, this stencil creates perfect cloudy skies with a stencil that has four sides and different cloud shapes.
Are you in need of a quick birthday background? Look no further than the Confetti Background Stencil! This four-layer stencil allows you to make a super fun background whether the inks you use are all different colors or just one.
I loooove the Daisy Background Stencil! This stencil is so fun to either blend each flower a different color, to blend a monochromatic panel, or to have a multi-color panel of cute little flowers. Just looking at these pictures makes me want to bust this stencil out again!
I love the Paw Print Stencil! My favorite part of this stencil is that there’s a layer to add shading to one of the sides of the paw to add dimension! Better yet, this stencil can form a die-n-stencil combo when you use the coordinating Paw Print Texture Die that’s also on sale.
The Sweet Ghost Stencil is such a cute, quick & easy Halloween card maker! This layering stencil creates an adorable full background and would be a great stencil to mass produce Halloween cards with.
The Two-Step Mixed Stripes stencil is a great background stencil that gives you lots of flexibility. For both of my sample cards, I actually used the stencil (which is designed for A2-sized cards) on 5×7 cards. You also have the option of only using one thickness of stripes by using only one of the stencil layers.
This last stencil is one of my favorites that I truly have not used enough. The Wild Flowers Stencil is a beautiful layering set that creates a full panel full of different blooms in different sizes, which I absolutely love.
Before we head into our last section, I want to sneak this guy in here. The Round Bookmark collection, which comprises of stamps, stencils, a base die, and even one foil plate, is another big favorite of mine. Being a bookworm, it thrills me to be able to make my own bookmarks! These pictures show the Round Bookmark Die, Round Floral Bookmark Duo Stamp Set (and stencil and foil plate), Round Bookmark —Book Lover stamp set (and stencil), and the Round Critter Bookmark stamp set (and stencil).
Postage
This last product section here is alllll about the fabulous Postage Collage and Nesting Postage Collage collections.
This carousel of images showcases the Poinsettia, Snowman, Gingerbread, Spooktacular, Snowy, Cupcake, Gifts, Sew Fun, Coastal, Vertical Tree, Dear Santa, Christmas, The Pond, Butterfly, and Tropical Flowers Postage Collage stencils. When it comes to Postage Collage, I feel like I can never have too many stencils!
Next up is the Postage Cupcake Die-n-stencil. This guy is such a little cutie! You can use it on its own on a card like I did or make a collage with it and other PC stencils or any element you want!
When it comes to the Postage Collage collection, I wholeheartedly recommend that you get the base postage edge die, the blocks die, and the blocks stencil. Personally, I use the Postage Collage Blocks die for whatever PC I’m using every single time. To me, it’s an absolute essential product because it lets you add dimension to your Postage Collage, but also lets you change the color of the postage ruffle. The Blocks Stencil allows you to create whatever you want in basically a masked off area. All are needed in my opinion!
Last up, we have the Nesting Postage Collage collection. This one has been one of my favorites to see grow because I love the larger designs and how each stencil set has such cute scenes for the circle and long rectangle shapes. I adore the Party Bear Stencil, the Mush Love Stencil, and the Let It Snow Stencil so much! These designs are so cuuuute! So fun and playful and perfect for birthdays, fall, and winter/Christmas. Just like with Postage Collage, I do recommend getting the base die, the NPC Blocks Die, and the NPC Blocks stencil. However, one caveat I have here is that you could skip the Blocks die because the base die does have the inner shape dies.
That wraps up all the products I love & recommend! Next up is tools!
Tools
When it comes to recommendations about tools, I have many. The ones I’m mentioning here are absolutely some of my favorite products and ones that I use pretty much every time I craft.
Grip Mats
For me, Grip Mats are an essential. I use one in my mini MISTI, my regular MISTI, and always have the 7.5 × 11 inch size on my glass mat. I love using them when it comes to stenciling, but also to hold my card base/elements in place while I figure out design placements. Such an essential tool!
Media Mats
Another essential for me is the Media Mats. These come in two sizes, 6×9 inch and 9×12 inch, but personally, the mini Media Mat (6×9) is my one true love. When it comes to ink blending die cuts, this mat is perfect for it! As you might know, Grip Mats can pull on the bristles of blending brushes a little bit if your brush goes over your stencil or die cut and onto them. This media mat doesn’t have that issue, it allows you to smoothly blend without brush bristles getting pulled on! It’s the perfect mat for anything messy, too—clean-up is a breeze!
Blending Brushes
When it comes to things I use every single time I craft besides Grip Mats, Waffle Flower blending brushes are it. Specifically, the 1+ Blending Brushes (these are my absolute fave and they’re perfect for so much!), but the Background Blender Brushes and the Blending Brushes (the traditional ones we’re all familiar with) are no slouches either! The Background Blenders are a great ergonomic brush that allows you to softly build up your ink blending a little bit at a time, and with their size, they make covering a panel in ink an easy feat. I use the Blending Brushes as a happy medium when I need something bigger than the 1+ brushes, but smaller than the Background Blenders. All these brushes are so, so soft and perfect ink blenders!
Ink Swatch Dies
Last year Waffle Flower came out with a refresh on their swatch system, and it’s amazing! I’m particularly in love with the Ink Swatch 1×1 die because Nina introduced it with the idea of having a magnetic swatch board, and once I created one I was wowed. This system is so ‘it’ for me. On my magnetic board, I have one side of cardstock 1×1 swatches, and the opposite side with ink blended 1×1 swatches. This allows me to easy pull off the colors I’m thinking of playing with and seeing if that palette is what I want to create with or not. I use this system every single time I craft and swear by it.
Masking Corners Stencil
The last tool I’ve got to share with you is the Masking Corners stencil. This baby is worth the money! This stencil, which can be trimmed to be 3 pieces, easily lets you mask off corners when blending Postage Collage scenes. I’ve been using this so much lately when I’m stenciling, and what’s even better about it is that since it’s stencil material it sticks to your Grip Mat and is super easy to clean!
That wraps up all my recommendations for this amazing Spring Sale! I hope that you are able to take advantage of the sale and get lots of new crafty products! As always, happy crafting and I hope to catch you again soon!
