Poshta Design- Christmas in July 2026 Day 1

Hi, friends!! I’m so beyond thrilled to share some exciting news with you today— I have the extreme honor of guest designing for Poshta Design’s Christmas in July release!!! If you haven’t seen my post from earlier this year, last Christmas I made looots of family members some Poshta ornaments as gifts. This month is actually my one-year anniversary of finding this amazing company and falling head over heels with all things felt stitching, so I’m incredibly honored to be here today. But enough of that! Let’s get into today’s sneaks!

Ribbon Candy Color Story

First, I’m just going to briefly chat about one of the new color stories being released! This playful set of colors is called the Ribbon Candy Color Story, and I just love it! I was smitten with it as soon as I saw it, so I knew I had to create with it. You’ll see it with one of my projects today and tomorrow. The colors are Mango, Taffy, Crabapple, Spearmint, and Wintergreen. Such a perfect color palette with hints of cozy nostalgia and fun!

Picture Frame Die & Extras

First up is this holiday cutie! I knew as soon as I saw this die set that I would be making cute little felt frames for our fridge. I wanted to make a holiday one with a cute pic of when our pup was festive (maybe against his will—he is not a fan of hats😅) and I love how it turned out! I used the Ribbon Candy Color Story and cut the base frame out of Crabapple, the frame detail out of Mango, and stitched the details with Spearmint floss. To finish it off, I added some Mango sequins and popped some adhesive magnets on the back.

For a non-holiday option and as a thank you to my boss, I made this cute little gift and printed a picture of her adorable cat! I’ve gotten really into gardening and landscaping this past year, and my incredible boss was so kind to gift me an amazing book from her late sister who was a master gardener. I wanted to do something as a thank you, and when I saw the Picture Frame die set, I knew this would be the perfect gift! I die cut the base of the frame out of Glacier felt, the frame detail out of Gecko, and I stitched the scalloped detail in Vintage Glass. I added some sequins for a little embellishment on the front, then added the magnets on the back, and this project done!

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Check back tomorrow for another day of fabulous sneaks!
